Condition: Impotence •  Life Gate Fire Decline
Treatment: Reinforce Kidney Yang and warm up the lower jiao by using points from the Conception Vessel and Kidney Meridians.
Description: Poor erecting of the penis or erection that lasts only seconds, pallor complexion, cold limbs, dizziness, blurring of vision, poor spirit, soreness in the lumbar region and knee joints, frequent ruination, pale tongue proper with white coating, deep thready pulse.

BL23 • Shen Shu • On the lower back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra (L2).
CautionAvoid the Kidneys.
Kidney Shu. Back Shu of the Kidney that connects with Front Mu GB25.
Explanation: Life gate.

CV4 • Guan Yuan • In the pubic region, on the anterior midline, 2 cun superior to the upper border of the symphysis pubis.
Origin Pass. Front Mu Point of the Small Intestine that connects with Back Shu BL27. Meeting Point on the Conception Vessel with the Spleen, Liver and Kidney Channels.
Explanation: Fortifies the original Qi

GV4 • Ming Men • On the lower back, below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra (L2).
Life Gate. Reunion point on Curious Meridian Dai Mo.
Explanation: Life gate.

KI3 • Tai Xi • On the medial ankle, at the midpoint between the prominence of the medial malleolus and Achille's Tendon.
Great Ravine. Shu Stream Point on the Kidney Channel. Yuan Source on the Kidney Channel. Earth Point on Water Meridian.
Explanation: Yuang Source point.

SP6 • San Yin Jiao • On the medial leg, 3 cun superior to the medial malleolus, on the posterior border of the tibia.
Contraindication: Do Not Needle If Pregnancy is known or suspected.
Three Yin Intersection. Meeting Point on the Spleen Channel with the Liver and Kidney Channels.
Explanation: Meeting point of foot Yin.
